The Springtide Society
The Springtide Society is the organization behind the gathering.
It plans and hosts immersive events that combine formal celebration with immersive, theatrical design, often held within historic settings and shaped through collaboration with local artists and craftsmen. These gatherings are designed to feel complete, considered, and well planned: from the first arrival to the final moments of the evening.
The Society believes that the quality of an event should be evident in how it unfolds, not in how it is described.
Its Purpose
The Springtide Society creates fantasy gatherings that bring together historic or unique venues, local artists, performers, and craftspeople.
While the form of these occasions may change, the Society’s approach remains consistent: thoughtful preparation, attention to detail, and respect for the audience. Atmosphere is cultivated deliberately, allowing guests to engage at their own pace and according to their own interests.
The Society values preparation over improvisation, and clarity over excess.
On Disclosure
The Springtide Society does not publish a list of its members, nor does it describe its internal arrangements in detail.
Information relevant to attendance is shared clearly and without ornament. Beyond that, guests are invited to encounter each gathering as it unfolds, without expectation or obligation to look behind the curtain.
Responsibility to the Guest
While the events themselves are imaginative, the Society is direct about matters that affect guest safety, comfort, and access.
Information about accessibility, timing, expectations, and practical details is provided clearly. The immersive elements of the evening are never placed ahead of a guest’s wellbeing.
This is a standard the Society does not compromise.
Continuity
The Springtide Society plans to host gatherings on a recurring basis.
Each year’s event will differ in setting and story, but all will be connected by the same approach and level of care. Returning guests may notice familiar patterns; new guests are welcome to encounter them for the first time.
Future events will differ in setting and content, but will be guided by the same standards and approach. Guests who return may notice familiar rhythms; those attending for the first time are welcomed without prerequisite or preparation.
The Springtide Society will be present on the night.
The rest is best experienced directly.
