Guest Care & Conduct
The Springtide Society is committed to ensuring that every guest may attend its gatherings with confidence, comfort, and respect.
The following principles apply to all Springtide Society events and are in place to support the safety, dignity, and enjoyment of everyone present.
Respect for Others
All guests are expected to treat one another with courtesy and consideration.
Harassment, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes conduct directed toward other guests, performers, staff, volunteers, or venue personnel.
Differences of opinion, interpretation, or engagement with the event do not justify disrespectful behavior.
Consent and Boundaries
Participation in conversation, dance, performance, or immersive elements is always optional.
Guests are expected to respect verbal and non-verbal boundaries at all times. A decline - whether spoken or implied - should be accepted immediately and without question.
No guest is ever required to remain in character, perform, or engage beyond their comfort.
Weapons, Substances, and Intoxication
For the safety of all attendees, weapons of any kind are not permitted, including real, replica, or prop weapons.
The possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited anywhere on event or venue grounds.
Alcohol may be served in designated areas and must be consumed responsibly. Guests who become extremely intoxicated, whether through alcohol or any other substance, may be asked to step away from activities or leave the event for their own safety and the comfort of others.
Photography and Devices
Guests are asked to use phones and cameras thoughtfully and with awareness of those around them.
Photography must never interfere with performers, disrupt theatrical moments, or intrude upon other guests’ experiences. Certain areas or moments may be designated as photography-free; these instructions must be respected.
Any recording that compromises consent or immersion may be restricted.
Compliance with Staff Direction
The Springtide Society’s staff and volunteers are present to ensure the event proceeds safely and smoothly.
Guests are expected to comply promptly with instructions given by staff, volunteers, or venue personnel, particularly in matters of safety, accessibility, or timing.
Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without refund.
Care, Support, and Concerns
If at any point a guest feels uncomfortable, unsafe, or in need of assistance, support is available.
Guests may speak with any staff member or volunteer, or visit the registration desk, to raise a concern or request help. All reports will be handled with discretion and care.
A Shared Responsibility
The atmosphere of a Springtide Society gathering is shaped collectively.
By approaching the evening with patience, attentiveness, and respect for others, guests help create an environment where imagination and enjoyment can flourish for all.
